What happens is that we bring in our DSLR footage and everything works fine, previews run smoothly even without work area rendering, but as soon as our animation files with alpha channels are brought in and dropped on the timeline, PPCS6 starts to REALLY struggle, even when we render the work area out, it still cannot preview the timeline without severe hiccups.
